Build Live Apps With AI (Claude Code / Cursor)
Build and deploy a working application in two days with Claude Code and Cursor. Learn how databases, APIs and sign-in fit together.

Course overview
Why learn to build live apps with AI?
AI coding assistants are putting software development within reach of more professionals. This course teaches how real applications are structured — databases, APIs, authentication, deployment and security — so you can direct Claude Code and Cursor to build apps that actually go live.
Outcomes
- Understand how modern web apps are structured across frontend, backend and database layers
- Set up and navigate a professional AI coding environment using Claude Code and Cursor
- Design and query databases to store and retrieve real application data
- Build backend functions that consume APIs for third-party services such as payments or AI models
- Add user authentication so the app knows who is logged in
- Secure the database with row-level security and access-control policies
- Deploy a working application to a live URL
- Debug errors using AI assistance and developer tools
- Capstone: build and deploy a complete working app from idea to live URL
This course is suitable for
- Beginners who are new to programming
- Professionals who have tried Claude Code or Cursor and are not sure what to build next
- Anyone who wants to turn ideas into working apps without a developer
- Product owners and project managers who want a clearer picture of how web technology works
